Boated to downtown and looked for a place to have lunch. Johnnie's didn't look like much from the outside but we were wrong. The food was awesome. Bartender was up front that she was the only one and someone was going to be in soon to help. Appreciated the up front communication. Had cheese curds and poppers which were fantastic and then a burger. Stop by, get lunch and leave happy. Highly recommend. Will be back.
A local recommended I go here when I asked about the best place to get a burger. He was correct in his recommendation.

We were in Cheboygan this past weekend, and were not familiar with what was available regarding restaraunts. We didn't want fast food or anything fancy... went on a search... Johnnie's Bar kept popping up in the scrolling SOOO we decided we would check it out! We couldn't have been happier, The burgers were AWESOME and hardy too! We were taken very good care of by the staff, and we enjoyed every bite of our food, so much so we even went back the next day before leaving town. If you are looking for a GREAT BURGER we highly recommend this place, and don't forget to order some Pretzel Bites with Cheese, so yummy.
Revisited Johnny's for the Second Wind band and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Staff is very nice, the location is clean. We did not dine here just had beverages however we were told many times they have great burgers. We will be back to try it out.
Great hamburgers! TouchTunes on the jukebox was nice for us music lovers. Beer was nice & cold. Bartender was excellent & made this out-of-towner feel welcomed. They even have karaoke! Probably during their peek summer months. Looking forward to checking that out.
Great place to stop for drinks and catching a game. Service was excellent, local hangout for people in town. Small menu but good bar food.
